# JW Evidence CV — v2.7 Candidate 04

## Purpose
Brings the release records back in line after sixteen pull requests were merged without version controls, restores the truncated homepage, gives every page a deployment footer and makes content pages print cleanly.

## Changes
- Recorded pull requests #4–#19, merged after Candidate 03 without a version advance: CV baseline (IP evidence, iPad footer, references, Whiteside Research handshake JW-CV-WR-HS-001, prepared not connected); homepage Dynamic CV button; SSRN synchronization (23 papers, October 18 snapshot); dissertation and Praxis implementation sections on the homepage and printable CV; Praxis dissertation endpoint in the CV source registry; Executive & Applied Experience Supplement (/competencies/) and Grant Biosketch (/biosketch/); Walden coursework and the Academic Coursework Register (/course-register/); Evidence CV dropdown navigation; unified print layout for report pages.
- Restored the homepage, which commit b00f78c had cut from 17,780 to 5,095 bytes (hero, sections and footer opening removed); content restored from commit 0a1c4de.
- Added the site footer (screen only) to the Grant Biosketch, Executive Supplement and Course Register pages, so every page carries the deployment line.
- Added print rules for content pages: the menu, section tabs and button rows no longer print, and header titles print dark instead of pale grey.
- Escape now closes an open Evidence CV dropdown, and a click outside closes it.
- Added AI Failure Register entries 011 (homepage truncation) and 012 (sixteen merges without release controls).

## Why this release
Sixteen pull requests (#4–#19) changed production after Candidate 03 without advancing the version or writing a manifest, and one of them truncated the homepage. This release records them and fixes what the 2026-10-18 audit found. See AI Failure Register entries 011 and 012.

## Required post-deployment checks
- The custom domain shows "Deployment v2.7 Candidate 04 · October 18, 2026" in the footer.
- The homepage shows the hero and sections, not just the menu and footer.
- Printing any content page leaves out the menu and prints the page title in dark text.
- After the legacy Worker route is removed, cv.jermainewhiteside.com/ serves this release.
