# JW Evidence CV — v2.7 Candidate 19

## Purpose
Cleans HTML character codes out of imported ORCID and PubMed titles.

## Changes
- First live run (October 19, 2026): ORCID returned 32 works, all owner works with SSRN DOIs; PubMed returned no records matched to the ORCID iD (status empty).
- Fixed: one ORCID title ended in a literal ' '. Imported text now decodes HTML character codes (named and numeric) and trims non-breaking spaces; unknown codes stay as plain text.
- The cached snapshot key moved to snapshot:v2 so the corrected titles replace the cached ones on the next visit.
- Adapter checks: 24, all pass.

## Required post-deployment checks
- /api/research/profile: the "From Kenya With Care" title no longer contains " "; ORCID still ok with 32 works; PubMed empty.
- The footer shows "Deployment v2.7 Candidate 19 · October 19, 2026".
